We are registered as a Police and fire compliant installer and maintainer of security alarm system

We work together with the police and fire service maintaining and installing alarms and systems.

We are registered as a Police compliant installer and maintainer of security alarm systems; we have the capability to set up police response to your site should you wish, and we can guide you through the application requirements.

New systems are installed in acordance with BS EN 50131 -1 and BS 8243 and BSI PD6662. Upon completion we issue a NSI gold certificate for the installation and offer a maintence agreement in line with Police requirements.

We also follow national guidance from both CFOA and the Department of Communities, Local fire and Rescue services have begun to implement mandatory registration of Automatic Fire Alarm Systems. These are required for both new and existing systems.

We can assist you with completing the necessary paperwork and can provide copies of the required Maintenance certification.

Police Response

ACPO is the Association of Chief Police Officers. As a body they provide guidance and influence policy within the regional Police constabularies.

Police response can be granted to an Intruder Alarm system, as long as it meets the relevant build requirements, has the appropriate certification and has a valid URN (Police Unique Reference Number).

Fire Brigade Response

CFOA (The chief Fire Officers Association) influence the policy implemented by each of the regional Fire and Rescue Services.

They state that:

“Third party quality assurance can provide confidence, both as a means of satisfying you that the goods and services you have purchased are fit for purpose, and as a means of demonstrating that you have complied with the law.”

We are routinely audited by NSI on the BAFE SP203 third party accreditation scheme and therefore can configure your system to pass automated fire alarm alerts through our ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) through to the Fire and Rescue Services.
